Welcome to Helix Math
Most math practice teaches your child to repeat what the worksheet already taught them. That works for the worksheet. It does not close the gap.
A math gap is a single skill that did not finish forming, usually two or three years behind where your child is now. The student practices on top of the gap. The gap stays put. Eventually a new topic leans on the unfinished skill, and the structure tips.
Helix Math starts with a short diagnostic. It tests stability, not just accuracy. The result is a skill-by-skill map: which rungs are stable, which are still forming, which are shaky. From that map, the engine builds a daily plan that targets the three or four skills the next two years of math will lean on.
When your child gets stuck, the coach asks the question a great teacher would, then waits. The answers come from the child, not from us.
We are an early platform, built for parents who have stopped wanting more practice and started wanting the right practice.
If you would like to see which skills your child has mastered and which are still shaky, the free Helix diagnostic takes 30 to 40 minutes. You can read more about the approach at Helix Math.
